Welcome to Atlanta. Continuing our celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, we take you to “The A” with the Dunk Low ‘ATL’. Redefining music and reshaping culture with a sound and swagger all its own, this design commemorates ATL’s ascension to hottest-in-the-game with vibrant Picante Red suede. Glowing Bright Crimson Swooshes rep the city’s pulsing music scene, while Metallic Gold accents are a reminder to the world: the South owns the crown.
Borrowing the titular red hue of its “Clark Atlanta University” Dunk Low counterpart, smooth leather overlays indulge in the familiar shade while its base panels render a suede textile treated with a bright orange undertone. Furthering the tonal outfit of the upper, crimsons additionally lay claim to the laces, sock liner and embroidered heel counter while the cities “ATL” abbreviation comes spelt with a Swoosh and enjoys a gold foil finish along the heel. Proffering a semi-translucent vibrant orange midfoot Check, underfoot the silhouette concludes with a simplified pairing of a crisp white midsole and red tread.
